2. Introduction

Lab. preparat had a competition for art works selection for screening in overseas. Finally 10 art works using media art picked out by juries which art works have a socio-cultural background or critical point of view to our society. And those art works reflecting socio-cultural influence, meanwhile they have a unique perspective and focus on having a humor and wit in art expression as being sugar. We had a point toward that compounding for selection.
Every art works forms single channel video, performance recording, exhibition archive, netart, and blog art that location too closer to young generation and young artists using media as medium for artistic expression. This is the first keynote for episode 4 Korea. Although the second characteristic thing is, as looking through the trivial affairs in megalopolitan, Seoul, or revealing ordinary state like trends, conspiracy, suppression, system, indifference in our lives to the surface utilizing the artic code. Then we can (or cannot) figure out the cultural essence and system of megalopolitan.
In addition Trivialism is the tendency of enslaved by terminal minor thing forgetting the intrinsical nature or the situation of hiding the superstructure when express trivial things too much. But the art do not agree or disagree either, so we capture that meaning of art has dual structure in Trivialism and which is revealing at the same time.
